all my tanks have canister-filers that intake from the bottom of the tank/tub ... like .25 inch from the bottom....

no water change - 24/7 new water dripping
no vaccumming - the cannister filer

all i need is a auto feeding machine then all i do is watch the fish....

how do u put an intake on the bottom of a glass tank?

How big do these guys get? What is the minimum size tank I would need? thanks!

Just have the intake for your canister filter close to the bottom. I kinda ghetto rigged one myself using the old intake tube.

I'm so very proud of my self today. I saw a 6" thinbar dat going for about 20US AND a korean perch that was going for 4US and i didn't get either. No space.. I did redecorate my snakehead tank tho.

Sweet Li! I think mine may be bigger though, hehe. Awesome collection!

Thanks for the info Li, I just installed a surface skimmer for my tank but it doesn't reach the bottom. I think i'll attack a hose to the bottom of it so it goes al the way to the botto..

After seeing your perch i really want one. I saw one the ohter day for abt 5bux US.
you should install a cheap small canister filter...
