Kribs with babies!

Mine look pretty much just like that, but bigger. They keep those brown spots for quite a while. Actually, the brown spots will become a bit more pronounced as the fry put some size on. Once they hit an inch or so, you'll start to see them look like little versions of the parents. :) Without all of the pretty colors, of course.
 
Congratulations. Just one thing, you shouldn't have taken the fry out until they were one inch long. The reason for that is the male is ready to spawn again while the female will not be physically ready, he will harass her often to death.
 
there are still about 6 babies with them. i use to do that with my cons and they kept raising them. by the time they were eaten the parents were BOTH ready to breed again :) thanks though :) ive seen no harrasement since they are still protecting those 6 babies.
 
thanks , ive had the experience happen with the convicts so i usually always dont take out all the fry. even if they get eaten rather the parents not kill each other.

I kno!!! That is definatwly my favorite part, when the frye finally take the shape of a real fish!
