Does anyone know if the L-114 leopard cactus pleco was added to the ban list also? It was the only pseudo that was still available but I heard from my LFS that they succombed to the same fate as the other pseudos. Thanks in advance.

I cant find a ban list that has them listed on there, but i sure as hell cant find one either. i have been looking for a few months now....so i dont know

Well that list shows it isn't banned. A few of my LFS have them but they will not sell them because they say they are trying to breed them.

It is possibel or they are keeping themfor them selfs

all brazilian plecos whith red tails are ban
L-114, L-24, L-25, L-273 what not

the best way to see if a pleco is ban is
if its a hypancistrus (excluding L-134 leopard frog)
or dos it have a red tail
but thats just what i hear form Dale at fantasticfins

Sorry i agree on L24-273..

But L-114 isn't banned.. they are available.. but they are the substitute for L24 and L25.. because they are the same family.. Pseudacanthicus.. However.. there is another Pseudacanthicus.. that is available.. L-160 Spiny monster..

As for L-134, its Peckoltia family.. Hypancistrus is L-137, the only other pleco with a Blue eye.. often call "Red Pleco"
