As for L-134, its Peckoltia family.. Hypancistrus is L-137, the only other pleco with a Blue eye.. often call "Red Pleco"

i think you got confused a bit, L137 is a Hypsotumus sp.

i think its all hypans from brazil are banned from export

Originally, a ban was imposed on the export of Hypancistrus zebra, due to over fishing, but they were still being exported as the officials didn't know what H. Zebra was, so a virtual blanket ban was put on the rest of the Brazillian pleco's, there is talk of the ban being lifted next year after officials have all been trained in i.d'ing different pleco's

Sorry i agree on L24-273..

But L-114 isn't banned.. they are available.. but they are the substitute for L24 and L25.. because they are the same family.. Pseudacanthicus.. However.. there is another Pseudacanthicus.. that is available.. L-160 Spiny monster..

Not disagreeing with you but where did you ever see an l-160? I had one a few years back that I traded like an idiot and have not been able to find one for a very long time. My favorite plec!

My local vendor actually had one.. I was probably looking at it for 3 weeks without really realizing what it was.. I was looking for a L114 at the time.. and the guy was like i have a similar species if u want it.. I passed it up.. cuz it wasn't a L114.. obviously.. he said it was spiny monster.. It had spikes.. I think for 3 months it was in that fish store until it was either gotten rid of or sold off...

Anywho.. i didn't know what it was until i bought the Aqualog Loricariidae book.. thats when i found out it was an L-160... so i saw it once..
