What happened to the Florida gars? This may be an appropriate grow out tank for an aro but I don't think it's appropriate for life. Just my 2¢.

They grow to a max of 36" I am thinking of building a 12'l by 4' d and 2.5' h in a few years. But until it reaches 24" it should be fine, especially since it's a 7" baby ;). The gars died after 3 days... I don't know what happened. They came in very sluggish and did not eat Massivore pellets, live worms, feeder fish or even crickets... So the arowana with bichirs were always my dream so why not. :p

Bummer. I'm sorry!! :( Are you able to tell where it's leaking from? Did you fill it up slowly or ask st once?

That's a lot of trips!! You'll have arms like Schwarzenegger. At least you know where it's leaking. Hope it's an easy fix for ya.

Ok well I would like to start off by apologizing about not being active for a while but I finally re silicones the glass since I had a leak in the glass portion of the tank.
I have went ahead and filled it up half way today and there is no leaks, I will finish filling it up tomorrow and wait 5 days before building the stand out of cinder blocks.
Pictures will be up when finished.
I have also bought an endlicheri bichir that will be inhabiting this monster build.

this tank looks great. I really like how you don't have a brace on the inside front corner, hopefully there wont be as much of a blind spot in the back corner
