L025 anyone keep one?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Mine used to be like that until I got rid of its cave. Now, it's more active, especially during food searching and feeding time. It's gotten quite aggressive too, quarelling with my trimaculous and giving the 15.5" Jardini good spanking from time to time.

Damn those liquid ammonia plecos. I imagine it would be more "active" as you would always be able to see it as you are taking away its hide, probably feeling a bit insecure about being in the open.

I have a few different Pseudas in my SA setup now(12" gold L273, 7" black L273, and 6" L024) and they're definately very shy. Every fish is different, but most will become more courageous in time.

Here's a pic of a 14" L025, which I had some time ago.

LOL, i sometimes think putting plecos in a tank is a bit like putting liquid ammonia into your tank, its adding to the bioload, and you dont see it after its hit the water.
Fabulous !!!!

People keep asking me why I have all these empty tanks.

I feel like telling them "I collect aquatic wood"

Its amazing how good they can hide, you would think beng 12 inches that you would always be able to find them.
