I just saw one of these at a LFS for $300, but they reduced it to $200 because they're wanting to move it. It was as big as a guppy.

I don't know much about them but I don't think they are a very large growing species.

Zebra plecos are mainly for colony or planted tanks.... their max size is under 4" and can cost anywhere between $100-$300 depending on size and sex.... Most ppl keep them by themselves or in a colony for breeding. As you know pleco are not hard to breed at all but these little guys are not like most plecos but they are fairly easy to breed.... Here in CA I've seen babies go for as low as $85 each and as high as $120 and Im talking about 1" size.... Its gone down alot since now ppl are able to tank breed them... Never the less they are one of the most expensive plecos out there.... and they look awesome.....
