L114 have been successfully bred. Maybe part of the price difference is availability of captive bred 114 vs wild caught LDA07?

There is probably some truth to that, I first saw TR LDA07/L600 like a year ago and they were sky high (over $100 wholesale for small fish)... about a month ago I missed an opportunity to get a group that were 4" tank raised for 60 each. Hopefully those prices keep trending down lol

"Real" L600 pseudacanthicus leopardus comes from a river in Guyana. LDA07 and L114 are from different rivers in Brazil. L114 and LDA07 are not the same. 95% once called L600's are actually LDA07. LDA07 and L600 are quite hard to ID. L114's are easy. There is few rivers where L114 are caught. They also look a bit different.

And it’s L114 dots on the head is larger than a L600 and Lda07. L114s can have full red tail too.
