L114 / LDA07 ?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Thank you guys ! :) I would like you ask one more question. How many plecos, is possible to have in this tank ? the bottom is 130x45. I tryed to make a lot of hiding spots. Now I am keeping, except LDA07 and L114, L183, L018, L201, L333, L260, L264, L200, L134, L190, L103, L083 and Loricaria sp. Rio atabapo. The L083 is looking for a new home and incoming tank mates are L128 and L239. Is it too much ? The lenght of the fish is from 1,5 cm to 12 cm. One piece from each. Could this work ? (till they get bigger ? )

Awesome tank! You have a lot going on.

Yes, very nice tank. How big is it? How long have you had plecos in it? What are the plants?

I find it tricky keeping plants and plecos (and discus) together. Some plants don't seem to like the warmer water that discus like (my anubias, java fern, and some crypts don't seem to do well, but maybe it could also be the L204s). The other tank that is cooler that has an L7, 2 L600 (bred by Pseudasmart), and L114, seems to be doing ok; the crypts were getting battered by the large L114s (before I gifted them to someone) when they fought.

It is 105 gallons. Plecos are there for 2 months, but most of them I had in 50 gallon tank. Plants are Vallisneria gigantea, Anubias sp., Hygrophila polysperma, Cryptocoryne affinis and microsorium pteropus. They are doing well, I used JBL florapol into the sand and also, every week I use liquid fertilizer to boost their grow. The temperature is around 86 F.

I am wondering if someone can help locate irnprovide the correct species for a cactus pleco that I must have. I chose this thread because it is listed as a L114, an L427,an LDA07 and an L600. It seems to be a variant of one of these in purple with a pink tale. Pictures attached. Any help on where I can purchase one of these would be appreciated.
