Need a 4ft-5ft tank x18in. Warm water and clean water (ammonia 0, nitrite 0 and nitrate <40ppm). Will take most prepared foods, varied. Current in the tank. Decor with large stones.
L114 - especially the standard Sternella LOVE to hide. Of all of my pseudas, these were the ones I saw the least. Be sure to give it plenty of wood and caves.
If you want a pseudacanthicus that's more active you may want to consider a different species. Especially if you're starting with a small 114.
Just speaking on personal experience, all of my various forms of leopardus get into little fights with each other. Worst case usually nothing more than some torn fins. Most of my pseudacanthicus fight a bit but it's always over quickly and they seem to only fight with other pseudacanthicus. Likely also varies from fish to fish and how your tank is set up. I have some plecos that're more aggressive than any of my pseudas.
