Looks like I'm trading in gold for red.
  1. Can someone tell me if 2x L25 can coexist, 60 gallon and plenty of hiding place?
  2. My datnoids like to sit on the bottom and hide among the driftwood sometimes, will the L25 attack the datnoid even if the datnoids aren't plecos?

get a few more driftwood pieces to make more cave and such to protect the dats. i would NOT put 2 L025 in a 60gal.

L025! I have three L014s over 10" and no L025. A better question would be Xanto or L025. I may be getting 2 Xantos soon and would use 1 to trade for a L025.

How big are they? They are sloooooow growers. Two should be fine if little. They will not bother dats or any other fish. L25's are not the most agressive pseuda. I think L-114 or L065 are far worse. A couple of years ago my L-114 (5 inches) almost killed my L-25 which was 10 inches at the time. I sold the L-25 like an a hole for $50. Never knew they would be so hard to come by now. I still have the L-114 who is 11 inches and very nasty in my 65.

I have had a L14 in the past. Great cat overall and was always roaming around never hiding.
I have seen L25's in the past and never jumped on them and they were about $125.00 each and around 8 inches.

you need to see an adult super red scarlet on black gravel to really appeciate this pleco. But then to each his own.
