How big do these get? Are these slow growers and what is the best food for them? Thank you for your help.

Largest I have seen in a tank was between six and seven inches. They seem to be slow growers and people either have great luck or bad luck keeping them alive. -Andrew

Mine chews on zucchini, but likes the pellets and meaty foods better.

yea i find different individuals have different tastes aswell as in general food types. Keep trying different things is the key. Plenty of suggestions in the dietry needs thread.
