Is a L81 Gold Nugget Baryancistrus Brazil Rio Xingu just a larger L18?

I've got a few, one 6" plus, they grow, but really freakin slow. And like everyone else is saying it eats nearly everything once acclimated, but that can take a long time

How do they do if you slt you tank to .3%

Plecos do not do well with salt in the water, especially long term.

You can rest assured that your fish will likely never grow more than an inch or twofrom its current size. The amount of food that a baryancistrus needs to grow to a hearty full adult size is phenomenal---that, along with certain conventional aquarium aspects that are as of yet unknown have been found to effectively stunt baryancistrine growth in the home aquaria (at least that is how it is surmised).

They are voracious limnivores by nature, and, if you want to stay true to their habits, you'd probably have to feed them every hour or so with some sort of high fiber food in small amounts.
