Not trying to be rude, but just like we told you in your other thread, there is nothing "platinum" about your L190. I find misleading terms like this to be counterproductive when trying to find out information. That being said I say buy the big fella and give it a go!

Go for it. Someone has to be 1st. I assume you have at least a 600G tank. Good luck and let us know how things go.

actually more like a large pond lol i figure if you cant breed it indoors the why not outdoors. tropical weather and rain where i live so who knows

Call it what you want!!!

Its just a common name it means nothing lol

This fish is not ordinary. It's a great looking panaque.
Imo this outlook is one of the things slowly ruining the hobby. In 10 years everything not bought from rapps or gage will be labeled "super red ultra turbo mega flame red severum"

Unfortunately, Rapps is no better: Panaque changae 3-4” 25.00 or 3 @ 22.00 L226 ‘zebra Panaque’ w/ boldly banded ‘butterfly fins

I've never seen that name or description and that's a readily available fish that's easily identified. I took that right off his stock list. So as someone else says, without the scientific name, the common names mean nothing.
