L191 first pleco

Hi, i did a thread about my 2 new pick ups a poly and pleco and i decided to split them up and out in there actually groups so heres my L191 i got for $25 buck at 2.5-3" is that a good deal (not that it really matters because i really wanted one) Tell me what you think. The water is yellow because thats brand new driftwood so have some tanning happening and these are cell pics and im impressed

He looks great, but belly is a bit sunken, as Jay says keep the veggies coming as well as algae wafers and lots of wood to graze on. Good luck with him!

Thanks! Yes i'm going be getting lots of veggies for him, ya i noticed the slight sunken belly too once i brought him home. Also question is there any veggie that is bad for them? or can i feed whatever. Cuz i right now i have tons of broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, celery and lettuce (romaine hearts and iceberg) right now and more then my family can eat. I also keep seeing zucchini is what most feed?

try mix it up see which ones it likes

They love zuchini...they also love yucca which sinks on its own and does not go bad right away, you can leave in for up to 2 days.

Thanks everyone already having a trial run with veggies i put broccoli and cucumber in about 2 hours ago and nothing yet.
