L196 size?

i have a L196 pleco(atleast i think according to others pics of theirs) and he is bout 6in. now. how big will he get and could i place him with my arowana, clown knife and 2 clown loaches? they are all bout the same size as my pleco.

Larger individuals are territorial to conspecifics however not predatory and able to look after itself with all but the most violent tankmates. Not a good pleco to keep with other similarly sized plecos as the gibbiceps would usually win any competition for food.

Size 450mm (18")

The only fish I see having problems with is clown loachs. if you have enough hiding spots and feeding spots no real problems will occur.

yeah thats what he looks like but what probs would the clown loaches cause? territory issues?

With CL's? Nah you will be OK!

only with other nocturnal bottom dwellers (mainly other plecos), and i dont think CL are

CL's don't have enough in them to really do too much damage to plecos, I wouldn't be worried at all.

unless a pleco tried to swallow them, but i doubt it

I think the most a pleco would do to a CL would be trying to suck slime off, or attacking it for territory, but not swallowing.

lol a predatory pleco would be awesome. and im talking much more predatory than the "vampire pleco"
