Gee... My Green Phantom loves cucumber (when I put it in the tank). She's the 2nd pleco out for that (just behind my Leopard Sailfin).

When I first got my Green Phantom Pleco, she was all over the tank the first 2 days... sucking up and down the glass. Then, she stayed hidden for almost 3 months. I never saw her eat either, but she was surviving/striving. Now, she doesn't hide all of the time, and she's the first one out in the wide open to eat when I throw food into the tank. I feed my fish every other day, and I alternate between Blood Worms and Brine Shrimp. I also use TetraMin. She eats everything.

I probably should have mentioned hes in with an oscar, yellow acara, hrp, and sd's plus a little asain bb cat that will be rehome eventually ro another tank.
