I just wanted to know if they do good with algae like Bristle Nose and Otocinclus.

I would imagine they are very poor for algae, esp. compared with BN's and otos that actively look for it.

They will eat algae, but won't eat the algae grown in the tank very well. If you want one for cleaning algae, otos or bn are your best choices.

Thanks for the info I got one today. Even if it isnt a "good" algae eater, I still wanted one. If it was as good as a Bristle Nose or an Otocinclus, it would've been a bonus. Here' a couple of pictures of my new friend...

good thing they arent though, as they aren't as easily bred!
