Definitely hemiancistrus, 100% male but I don't think anyone can say for certain it's a L128. There is a lot of confusion with L numbers and depending on the collection point, it could be a local variant of the L200 or L128. It shares phenotypic characteristics of both, moreso the L128, but I have never seen one with such an emerald green color.
True, L200 are typically more lemon/lime color but most L128 are also slate grayish-blue with whiter dots. This specimen is debatable and may possibly be a hybrid or a variant. Whatever it is, it's an amazing fish that's one of a kind unless someone else has a pic of their L128 looking this green. Definitely worth trying to breed...the question is..to what? L128 or L200??
