I recently purchased a beautiful fully red L273. Have had some in the past that were more yellow and often hear people refer to them as red or yellow. There are obvious color differences between some of these fish but are there actually two type?

Is the variation in color related to collection point, just variations from fish to fish or are they separate but very closely related species?
I believe these have been bred in captivity. Do you get both colors out of a single spawn if the parents were both the same color?

Pseuda experts please chime in!

Lol thanks for the tag but to be honest I don’t know much about 273. I have an L14 that started gold and has colored up to orange/red and from what I know about those, it’s the same species. This is the growth and coloration since September 11.
