yup their mine haha i saved them from petco (they had them in a 50 gal tank) but ive got to say they are some of my favorite fish i own. their like little puppies lol

Neither looks like L-340 to me.

Sure.

Note the enlarged rostrae and the "bespectacled" mid eye patterns. These are characteristic of the number.

The first fish, as stated, looks to be of the L-66 complex of fishes, and the second is something like 270 (hard to tell with the pics), which is often mislabeled as L340 for increasing profit margins due to similar coloration.

I had my pacu for 8 years..loved them too...tank burned from short in wire and i lost my guys..so sad.. pacus are GREAT!
