Hey guys, traveling to LA for the weekend, any fish stores with flowerhorn I "can't miss?" Probably gonna make it to Westminster/Garden Grove area as well. Might even go crazy and visit Aqua Craze in Sacramento.
Julie's is worth a drive up to Sac from what I hear. Theres Petzone in San Diego. I know Albert (Pokerholics) is in that area but I don't think hes working out of a store but it wouldn't hurt to ask. Not too familiar with the local stores though.

but the best thing I ever expect to find at a lfs is a larger size pure breed cichlid that someone traded in. Maybe if you're lucky you'll find a decent FH...
But for more FHs, visit "Total fish and pets". It is 45 minutes away from the 3 lfs above though.. And the price is expensive so might as well order on online.

The one in Garden Grove off of Euclid and Westminster is ok. They have some nice flowerhorns, and not just your standard SRDs. I think its called Garden Grove Tropical Fish?
So....so I checked out Lotus Aquarium, super impressed. They were small but had some nice stuff. Unfortunately all I purchased was a poster lol. Today I checked out Tropical Fish? Off of Euclid and Westminster. Unfortunately I didn't have a lot of time because I wanted to eat at Brodard and they were SUPER packed.
But big things happened today. Basically arranged to get a 9.9 Kamfa from MaoPladang 9.9 himself...SUPER EXCITED!!! Also arranged the purchase of a 220 tall tank yesterday for when I get back. Looks like things for the new fish room are falling right into place.
