my fluval 404 he sold me is completely broken.. refusing to send back money and i offered to send it back up to him to see and he refuses...

I dropped off a working filter. you had all day to check it out and now you say its broken after i left. how ironic is that. For all I know you could switch out to a broken 404 and said that one was mines and come up on a new filter.

yes there very reliable to me. there is no excuse in a broken filter. no guarentee on LIVE fish is one thing but this is not alive obviously. its broken merchandise

No bro, I did do gurantee on LIVE, when you receive then they were live. what you did with them after my part is out of my hands.

Totally agree. Hands down, you said it. Prob with that is... I did not know he was sedated. After I got home I noticed he was acting realy weird... thats where the story begin... He told me when I called that it was sedated and told me what to do, so I did but he did not make it.
L should be able to agree to that much

From what I gather Mr. Aquatics was caught trying to scam again and when he was on the phone he got his back up...

being hostile and defensive is a sign of guilt, instead of being calm and collective and trying to work something out like a normal person would be. So maybe he knew there was something wrong with the Payara like that other persons fish with the infection...

seems kinda weird to me, also I find it fun how jlnguyen74 comes to Aquatics Defence rather then Aquatics him self... smells fishy but this is a fish keeping forum (the reason for the fishy smell its a joke ).

I haven't known L Aquatic, or met him, so whatever I post is from my point of view. It's not weird to you. You're just weird! You have no clue, you don't know a person, yet bashing him and call him a scammer. How could he scam someone when the transaction was done face-to-face, and fish was hand-to-hand delivery? If the fish didn't meet what was described when it's delivered, turns the deal off. Once you accept the fish, deal is done.

I think this should have been handled in better judgment. You knew L Aquatics had a long drive back up North. You should have given him time since he did picked up a boat load of fish while he was down here.. So I think he had other things to worry about at the moment. I've never met L aquatics so there is no need for me to defend him, but just saying that stuff like this should have been handled differently instead of immediately posting it and having people post stuff that they shouldn't be posting and possibly burning bridges you/they might want to cross later (not particularly with L aquatics, but other members on this board).

What ever happened to this being a community where we learn, and share knowledge that we all enjoy. Lately there has been drama all over the forum, and its just sad to read about people bashing/flaming this or that person for no reason. Just my two cents.

I'd venture to guess it's for making physical threats on another member. BUMP.

So L's proven himself to be a standup guy - we came to a good agreement on these fish and after finding some information on them I previously didn't have, I know that some of what was mistaken for bacterial/fungal infections on the mouths could just be injuries from lip locking.

Not my business to say either way how he's conducting himself in relation to what other users are saying.

All I know is that with me, he was very calm, and we had a friendly conversation over the phone about both of our concerns - then came to an agreement that we could both live with.

P.S. You need to edit your sig and get rid of a few metal heads, dude. In a lower resolution it skews the page out of whack and makes me scroll sideways to read crap
