la opinion on tank

i Just got a 96X36X24tall from tenecor and its only 1/2" hope thats ok! Not going to be filled for a little while though

I personally think 3/4" Acrylic is plenty. If people can get away with 450 gallon tanks with 1/4" tempered glass or even 3/8" temepered and wack it with there hand when water testing then in my book 3/4" acrylic is ok. Though there is alot of bottom pressure on the tank. To be safe go with what Johnptc said but I would think it's kinda overkill.

who on earth built a 450 outta 1/4"

i wouldnt go past 24x18" sized endpanels with 1/4 inch!

I love my 250. It is 1"I personally like that I can sleep at night just from seeing in person that it doesn't bow... I would go one inch and your tank is going to be double mine.

I would do a 1" bottom plate then the rest 3/4"
