Labidochromis Caeruleus

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Unless you plan on eventually getting a larger tank I would only do about a dozen of them. I had a 54 corner bowfront with 16 in there with plenty of hiding spots and filtered it with an AC110 and a 75Gallon Sponge filter. The tanks stayed clean but there was alot of aggression in the tank. I would recommend only about 12.

if you keep all males it will be fine with alot if you breed keep 1 male to 4 to 5 females

thanks for all your help. but ive still got a few questions, is there a mbuna that is a blue blue-ish colour in there if i drop the amount of Labidochromis Caeruleus? if not is there any other common easily available fish i could mix? if not then ill stick with all Labidochromis Caeruleus..... thanks alot

I have Ps. elongatus in with my L. caeruleus (amongst others), they're more aggressive, but it seems to work for all concerned except my breeding male has just started fighting with his eldest son (isn't it always the way? ;)).
