2/3 water, brackish, open top and hanging spotlights with a mangrove growing out of it at one end and salt rush at the other, fiddler crabs, red claw crabs, orange chromides, spaghetti eels , false four eyed fish, indian mud skippers, knight gobies, oligatus gobies, wood shrimp, malabar tongue soles, hermit crabs, trumpet snails, golden horn snails. None of these are monsters but you would have a very active and very unique tank. I would like a set up like this as a room divider.

i could just imagine the activity in that tank. Sounds yummy !

Dimensions? I really like what was mentioned above, especially if the tank is only 12" wide. Get yourself maybe 50 cardinals, couple awesome cories, few pairs of rams, and 3 high quality discus (DavidW is actually selling his-top notch!)

72x18x23

Thanks for all of the suggestions. I have an empty 55 that I was going to make a planted community tank....Maybe I can do that with this instead......awesome comments so far. Keep 'em comin!:D

fancy plecos and geophagus in an amazon biotope tank. ;)

Yep :grinyes:

A bunch of geos for sure. Get some pairs maybe too. And angles would be cool too, and if you want smaller schooling fish some tetras and rainbows. That would be a sweet tank. Also fairly cheap fish for fish. The geos can get a little expensive though depending what kind they are.

I get a bunch of dwarf pikes. A nice natural looking set-up with drift wood, plants, and some crenicichla. Regani are supposed to be the friendly pikes.

I have a similar size tank that i will be using as a cummunity tank,,,,,here's my plan for fish,,,,,,3 clown loaches,,,,,5 corys,,,,,15 cardinals,,,,15 cherry barbs,,,,,7 or 8 giant danios,,,,,,and half a dozen rams,,,,,,,,,these fish are all peaceful, beautifully colored , and live in different levels of the tank,,,giviing the tank a nice full look with vibrant colors,,,,,,,good luck with your decision

If you are planning on going a pl;anted tank you really need to talk to Plant guy. He belongs to the club and he can get you anykind of plants at a great price and he knows everything.
