my open doorway height is 32 3/4 inches. it looks like the total eheim is less than that (?)
(I have 34 1/2 inches, measuring from top doorway to the inside cabinet floor. but I'd put canister on plyboard, to sit even with the bottom ledge- if possible.)
I guess Eheim doesn't include the top assembly & hose in their "Dimension" specs.

Pet spoiler is wondering if a eheim 2262 can fit under her 180. She was going to get a fx5 but there seems to be a rash of fx5 problems lately...

My fx5 is great, with user maintenance and regular cleaning intervals there shouldn't ever be a problem! If I had the extra cash for a 2262 id have one, I just bought a korrila EVO 1500 gph powerhead, pretty stoked for it!
