60 grand isn't just a drop in the bucket for gaga, it's a drop in the bucket for authentic japanese koi keeping in general. (unless of course you're not looking at show quality, but I seriosuly doubt she'd buy anything but show quality)

The only fish that are more expensive are extremely rare salt water fish.

show quality asian arros go for 2500-5k show quality koi are in a wider range of 3-12k. The ones that win the awards though are much much higher. But that's akin to buying a champion dog from westminster, etc. Not gonna get that for 60 grand.

but truly as far as fish go, there are worse ways to spend 60 grand...actually I'm pretty sure her wardrobe costs well over 100x that and the result isn't nearly as cool imo.

Wow I didnt think koi could get that price.Now I might sound dumd her but whats to big difference between show quality and just koi from a petstore?I know every koi has different coloration but whats the big deal about show koi. If I personally was going to pay that much on fish I would buy some sweet monster fish not some oversize goldfish lol.
