I'd put thayeri at the top of the genus in terms of aggression, curviceps at the bottom. The only one I'm not sure where to place is the 'orangeflossen,' as I haven't kept them nor have spoken with anyone that has.
japes, your picture looks very similar to my dorsigera -- purple and black with a yellow-trimmed dorsal. Do the buckelkopf look fairly similar to them?
I'm learning that my thayeri are definitely not peaceful. They're in QT but the males are all shredding each others' fins. They're about to go into the 210 with the big boys.
