Laguna max-flo plumbing

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I ordered 1" click-fit connector and it was way too small for the 2x 2400s and 1x 4200 I have. I also noticed the output connection on the 4200 has a larger diameter. They have the correct adapter for the 2400s at a local pond store, but do not carry the one needed for the 4200. Does anyone know where I can find that?

I think this is the one you are looking for: http://www.webbsonline.com/Item/LagunaPT-634-Threaded-Male-02634?gclid=COmY6P6uo7cCFcqDQgodsjwAGQ

Another option is to just use flex tubing and use stainless steel hose clamps to then transition to your hard plumbing. Below is a pic of how mine is plumbed. It goes from the barbed click fit connection > flex pond tubing > Barbed fittings > threaded adapter (hard plumbing). I used ABS because I like the look better than white PVC plumbing and it's also cheap.

Sounds like you found out the hard way, but those little zip ties aren't going to do squat.

Good luck!

Thanks for your reply. The zip really did not do squat as the tube was warping and flexing under the pressure. On my 2400s, I bought the part you mentioned in the link above at my local pond store. But I was unable to find the correct size for the 4280. The click fit connection is larger, the end design for my 4280 plumbing looks identical to yours, except I used white pvc lol.

Is there a way to use these pumps externally? I can't spare the sump space, and I want to get rid of my mag 1800's. They are power hogs!

dont think they work externally but you can take them out of their cages to make a smaller package
