You probably only want one species for some of them like the foai or frontosa. This is assuming the tank is six feet long...but the dimensions would help.

If you want more variety you could do julidochromis and leptosoma (one species of each) and maybe another rock dweller or two.

I would recommend one variety of Juli. Personally have have always liked regani. Mine is a decent size and holds its own against much larger fish.
Same with the Cyprichs. Keep in mind these are generally a smaller fish and do much better on schools. The larger the better.

one more thing, i know for sure my tank it is 8 feet long. I cant wait i set up this tank
