Yeah, he's a despicable human being. He offered the government 5 millions to make up for the wasted time and money,they turned him down. Keep in mind he's worth 125 mil.

Why don't a growing population follow pro athletes??? Because of the lack of integrity that is shown by the likes of Armstrong and most other professional athletes. It often feels like the competition isn't really who is best but who cheats and hides it the best.
I hear ya. but he was idolized first, and just behaved like a regular jerk, and it's all becoming a big scandal because he was supposed to be "better than that".
nobody's better than flawed, and every one misbehaves to some degree.
It's only a scandal because of how defiant and insistent he was that he wasn't cheating ....trying to build his story.
Every rider who won during a 13 year period was busted for cheating but he's the only one who went ape**** crazy threatening lives and financially ruining people. The story deserves more then a ho hum well everyone cheats and that's what you get for idolizing him.
