Laptop Under $500

So I need a laptop under 500 for school plus maybe COD
so as far as I know I want a 15" screen and 6gb dd3 ram?
the 6gb ram is not neccesary as i know someone who will ad 2gb if I want but Id rather not go through the trouble and risk my warranty

so please help me as I know nothing about computers other then dd3 or something is faster? lol

the ddr3 standard is faster, your RAM speed wont be the bottle neck for your gaming performance.

You should REALLY just go IRL to a computer store and try the laptop...make sure the touch pad isn't crap...make sure the keyboard isn't crap.
 
yeah you're going to have to pay for than 500 for 6gb Ram. You can go on slickdeals.org or fatwallet.com and stake out if you are not in a rush to get it. I got my Dell for $450 with 4gb ram, 2.6Gz.
 
ok forget COD, I just want a fast reliable computer, my buddy said he would upgrade the ram and video card for me

Dell is running some smokin xmas deals now.
Look at dell.com and you will be surprised what you can get for your money.
