hey i know this sounds stupid cuz you said permanent but is there anyway that you could like cut the peices then sand them down? so its an open tank

d$"_AN£KC_"$

depends on what materials were used to divide the tank ...

You can cut the glass out and use an emery cloth on a sander and smooth it out ... thats how they smooth edges on a picture frame.

(rarely is anything permanent really permanent, depends how much work are you willing to put in)

No these are acrylic tanks with professionally bonded chronic dividers

:) I don't know, but every seam is also reinforced with a bonded acrylic bar, even the seams on the dividers.

These tanks also have an overflow in each quartered section. Water does also flow between the dividers thru vents. The guy that had them made said the entire divider cannot be removed although round holes can be cut in the dividers to open the tank up a bit.

if you could cut a hole in it, why couldnt you cut it down to only 1/8 of an inch boarder? and sand down the rest? if you can Cut it you can get rid of it. ITs beyond the level I want to commit but it should be accomplishable. Good luck to you and all interested parties.

Thanks, he vaugly explained why and I don't remember. But I will find out.

And defiantly would be an extremely laborious job esp with no prior acrylic modification exierience.
