Hi all,

I just inherited a large Bala shark (10 inches or so) from my father for my big community tank as he is downgrading. I've owned this species before and know they do much better in schools. I was hoping to acquire some other large Balas to give my new buddy some company—I'm afraid the tiny guys at the LFS aren't going to cut it.


If anyone in the New England/NY area has some large balas they'd be willing to part with please let me know!

a school of large bala sharks is very nice looking. Very underrated fish in my opinion. I rarely see large ones for sale. Goodluck hope u find more.

Plymouth Pet Store in Plymouth, NH has one larger bala currently. I know its only one, but figured id let you know of something local.

Are you still looking for Balas? I'm in Indianapolis, so kind of far from you, but I have 6 Balas I want to rehome. I have two @ 6" and four @ 9-10". I think the size difference is male/female.

I do not know how well fish this size would ship, or if you're willing to drive that far.
