Large Blue SA/CA cichlids

There are a few different sub species of the green terror found through out peru and ecuador.

This pic came to mind when you mentioned the big hump. Pic belongs to Jeff Rapps.

I'm guessing that's what you saw. They get rather large. Not sure where the photo comes from, but it isn't mine. Might be from Rapps

Gorgeous fish. I think we've put up the blue humpheaded cichlids. Trying to think of what else it could be

after looking at a bunch of pictures of cichlids on google, i'm almost fully convinced it was some sort of vieja

I don't think they get humps on there head but a EBJD is really blue..
