I have a large brack and I was wondering if I could have somestocking suggestions but not same old scats and monos but more exotic fish

I was going to mention the silver dat and the shark cat as they are probably the largest growing brackish fish. The silver dat will need quite a bit of time before it reaches a large size.

Freshwater Moray eels are the other way to go. Some Spiny Eels should be fine in those conditions. Also try some Archer fish. Sea Bass is another suggestion.

Bichirs might work, but they will probably have to be sourced from one of the rift lakes if you want to even have a chance.

Yeah, the Morays should be good but the bichirs I'm not too sure about. The rift lakes are not brackish that I am aware of.

That's just the thing. The Rift lakes aren't what you define as brackish, but they are extremely HARD in terms of PH. I've also read on one article that a brackish Moray will do just fine in a Rift lake setup due to the water hardness. In fact, I've also seen a rift lake tank in Manila Ocean Park containing some Salt Water fish, who did not exhibit any obvious problems with them.

It's something that could work, but the question is whether or not it is even possible to find some WC Bichirs coming from the Rift Lakes.

I'd avoid it if I'm uncertain of the origin.
