Anyone had any success doing this? I recently began turning my garage into a fish room and I'm going to build an 8x8x3 above ground pond similar to what BOTR did. I was planning on stocking some cichla and maybe an RTC or a TSN but was worried about potential tears in the liner. Any info is greatly appreciated.

I plan to use one for mine, many people have done so without issue. I'm just going to use a standard 45 mil liner.
