I oh WA
Anyone know of any websites that offer relatively cheap aquariumns up to 100g under 400$ w/o shipping?

Wanting to upgrade my 55g tank.

How big are you looking for. I have found that if you are not looking for something over 200 gallons your better off getting one from Craigslist or new from your local fish shop. If you are looking for over 200 gallons Try glass cages they don't have the best customer servise reputation but they do have good quality tanks at pretty good prices for the sizes. Also they will ship to a town close to you (maybe they have a list of shipping locations) and you just pay a fee and they take it there.

I wanted a new tank and found my local Petsmart had the best pricing.

They had the 6' 125g with glass tops and lights for $379. The problem was that this tank was too long for the spot I had in mind.

Another Petsmart in my area carried a 120g 60x18x26 which included glass tops, lights and a UG filter for $359. This was the one I got.

The $359 was with out tax. I drove to a local store to pick it up. I gues not all Petsmarts carry the same things. The store I visited had the 120g and a 150g 48x24 base size tank. Another one closer to me carried the 125g 6' tank. You just have to call around and find the store that carries the bigger sizes.

I am going to run 2 Cascade 1500 canisters on mine (Great budget filters!). I found one on sale for $115. That sale is now over, so next month I am looking at another for $140. These are rated for 200g each, which will be fine for my Midas, Pleco and future Silver Dollars (x5).

I am also going to use 2 of the Hydor 300 watt inline heaters (I already have these), so no big ugly heater tubes in tank.

I am still working on a stand-the Petsmart one was $249 and looked very cheaply made and just plain ugly. I have a friend coming over who does metal work who will price out a basic metal tube frame that I will cover in plywood.

Anyway back to your set up...
I would look at a Canister or two or mabe a Canister + Aquaclear 110 combo which would be a good bio /mech. filter combo.
