Why not have an aggressive tank and a community tank

I totally agree!! Do Both!! Just joined this forum recently because after doing the discus/angel/community aquarium, I really wanted more!! So, I am picking up a 125 which will be my new discus tank. I will then use my 150 for some bigger cichlids!!
I am amazed by some of your tanks and fish!!

I had this dilema a little while ago when a free tank and everything needed for it landed in my lap, I chose an angel tank instead of a discus for 2 reasons, 1.Discus require lots of maintenance 2. DISCUS ARE EXSPENSIVE!!! I'm not really a fan of larch cichlids because I haven't found the right kind of large aggressive cichlid for me. Im more of a big bad and toothy fish kind of girl ;D

For me a big part of MFK is not making the choice, but having both types of tanks.

Myself not a cichlid fan anymore I like large plecos and large schooling fish like emporer red hook silver dollars and flagtails.
