yah what is a MTS... ? Well one thing for sure if you have a flowerhorn in your tank and a MTS... Make sure you have 10 MTS or else good luck
Malaysian trumpet snails?
I've seen footage of what I think were Paratheraps synspilum eating Malaysian trumpet snails. If they weren't synspilum they were something else Paratheraps.
I've often read that snails form a part of the diet of some Central American cichlids, but I don't know which others would crunch up MTS.

I highly doubt any cichlid would eat MTS. I have a Ceylon puffer with an extremely strong beak that can eat them, but my Fahaka puffer cannot. They are awesome snails for cleaning substrate in tanks. I have them in 7 of my 10 tanks.
I have allot of tanks stocked with MTS and no issues except for my clown loaches. I use them to keep my mts population undercontrol. That said I did strip a female african the other day and when she spat her fry out a mts came with it! Must have picked it up when she was picking up the eggs!

Thank god I don't have them in my tank. I had to run hot water thru the sand one time to get rid of them. Of course with the sand in a bucket.
