nice! some look like cutteri/convict hybrids while others look pure. i would guess they are about 5 years old?? or looks there abouts.
Mine was an Oscar, so I was expecting Moby Dick here to be huge @ 1 year. Probably take a bit longer. Until then he's Little Richard.

Preaching to the choir mate! My con pair is going to have free swimmers any day now, after a few months, I think I'll separate them and make a male convict tank in my 40 breeder.
Those convicts in that video are impressive, no doubt, but it looks like they have 8 full grown beasts with zero hiding places in what looks like a 55 gallon. Not cool.
Thanks alot man. Yea a con was the very first cichlid I ever owned, and I still have him. He is almost 2 years old now, and will be a father for the 8th time.
actually i was the biggest convict fan anyone ever could meet.... ( not so much anymore ) i was literlly obsessed with breeding them constantly. and would not stop talking about them either... but now i work with africans....
