Large fire eel + Jardini

I've got 2 fire eels with my silver, and they get on fine although he does look interested in them at dinner time as they swim to the surface to get their fair share of the food going in. The problem I can see that you will have with the jar, is that he will show a lot of aggrssion towards them at feeding time. Although they may currently be a foot and a half long, they are still a very tempting bite as they are sussage shapped and fit in the mouth easily.

If the fish already has a history of destroying fish, then why would you even think of atempting this. Sounds to me like you already have a sitsuation that is eventually gonna cost you a geo.

Differrent jardini have different personalities, just because it is working for someone else, is no reason to think it will work with your killer.

I dont think it would cost me a geo since id remove him if he was getting too picked on! smart fish tho he makes sure to get well out of the way when the jardinis coming and thus avoids pissing him off to much. Cant say the same about the oscars tho they just hung about the center of the tank until they got chomped.

Try it and see. But only if you have another place for him to go if the eel doesn't fit in. Always have a back up plan.
