Large fish for 75 gallon?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
How about a Titanium Flowerhorn. This is my all-time favorite fish; personality, fantastic color, unique.
I have mine in a 75G along with some Frontosas.

I looked up most of the fish and I am really liking the Texas ones. They are really pretty and should be fine in a 75. I noticed some of the others would out grow the 75 so I didnt even bother. I have a 125 gallon but cant keep it because I wont have any where to put it in the house Im moving into (no real basement). I used to breed mollies, guppies and angelfish so I have had my fair share of taking care of too many fish and too many tanks. Thats why Im just looking for one beautiful large fish with personality to keep. I was planning on dedicating the 125 gallon to a BKGF (have always loved them) and then just some other larger peaceful fish but that went down the drain. By the way I am trying to sell the 125 gallon so if anyone in the KCK area is looking for one let me know!

The dimentions of the tank are 48" long, 18" wide and 21" tall. Hopefully I can make my tank look more like some of pictures I see on here, they look great. How do you clean the sand though? I tried that in a 20 gallon and it kept getting sucked up by my python siphon. I would like it to look pretty realistic as far as some wood pieces and some fake plants. I cant deal with live plants, although they are nice, I cant keep them alive and always get infested with snails.

A jag would outgrow a 75g. They need at least a 110-125g.
