Hello, everyone! I am new to this site because I wanted some Ideas on large fish for my new 240 gallon long 8'x2'x2' tank I am getting. I want to be able to have like 4 - 5 fish, so any recommendations would be appreciated. I already have an Oscar so that will be one.

ryas and an arow and datnoids

Golden perch, datnoid, one of the smaller tandan cats, swamp eel, butter cat, you have lots of choices

So how big do these fish get? The datnoids and rays? How well do they get along with others. These are three fish I do want to get. Oscar, Clown Knife, and Lima Shovelnose Cat. I am looking for unique, big, fish.

i would get an atf (african tiger fish) a big tsn (tiger shovel nose) or a tig (Merodontotus tigrinus) def get an arro and some stingrays. google these names and you can see some pics of them and some general info on them

A tig would be great, maybe a jag and a flowerhorn (I've kept both with an oscar). An aro would look great in there too

ya the tig will cost a little but there awsome. im gonna try and get one soon. i just need to find a doctor to cut out my kidney so i can sell it on ebay......... no there not that much but they are worth the money IMO

I wouldnt mind having another Tiger Shovelnose, but they never swim around unless the lights are off. I have never seen anyones tank with moonlighting or whatever it is called so that the nocturnal fish will swim around.
