List your favorite "monster" or large fish.

Im going with the red tail catfish.


Also, what would be the largest fish that could be comfortable its whole life in a 75? Im setting one up soon, and kinda curious what larger fish i could keep in there (obviously no monster fish in it)

Mines would be a dovii nothing matches imo the coloration, the size, and aggression.

But a true red devil is pretty damn great too with personality out of this world with the same attributes as the dovii just not as big

Any fish that doesnt grow over a foot could probably live in a 75 for life

Armatus payara.....and I agree 12 inches roughly depends on activity level of the fish and how tall and wide the fish is

I'm partial to the Tiger Oscar and the common Pleco. The Oscar just has so much personality and the pleco is just a tank when they get bigger.

Nope, not new to it at all. I just really like those two fish. I would really like to get an Arowana, but don't have the room for another big tank. Plus, my wife would likely go insane if I put another one in the house.
