Large freshwater shrimp?

A shop here had those,or a very similar looking species, for sale a few years ago.

I had a bamboo shrimp when I had my community tank. They're big enough to avoid being a meal. Well, for my community fish at the time. Pretty much everything I have now would either eat it whole, or give it an honest try.

One that one slaughter all of my fish.
Those shrimp look big enough to do some harm to a fish but I doubt they'd be much trouble...They also look like they might be good to eat...I'd almost be tempted to eat one myself lol.

shrimp-philtrator-atya-gabonensis_6.jpg I think the Atya gobonensis is, so far, your best bet. This species grows to about 6" and is a substrate sifter/omnivorous filter feeder. Any of the larger clawed shrimp will put your fish at risk of becoming menu items.
