it really depends where, when, and on the wheather conditions on what bass are going to bite, in my time fishing tournaments, that's what i have learned
there are all kinds on things we use
soft plastics< senkos, grubs, brushhogs, jerkbaits, tubes, the list goes on forever
hard baits< cranks, minnows, topwater
wire baits< jigs, spinner baits, chadder baits, buzzbaits
you just have to use the right thing at the right time, and in the right place, because we never know what the bass are going ti bite on, we bring 5+ rods to torneys, all rigged with different baits.
lately i have done good on, rapala DT cranks, gary yamamoto hulla grubs, and larger chartures spinner baits.
