large mouth bass

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I went with a 300 g which was all I could afford at the time, but now I just wish I'd have waited a bit and gone for 500 gallons. I guess in the long run it worked out though cause they had to build it for me [not off the showroom floor so to speak] and when it finally showed up we couldn't get past our front door. I eventually had to take out the bedroom window and get a few of my neighbors to help chaingang the tank into my room. The tank you are welcome to is 6 feet long and 24 1/2" tall but it's only 16 1/2" wide so you may be up to the same situation with the 150 g if your looking for more of a wider tank. But I'd say its nothing like a show tank where your looking at a 100 g where it's only 10 or 12 inches wide.

Funny how the web links up people. I as well grew up with rabbits. If it weren't for the fact that they are so gentle by nature they would probably be good watch "dogs". I can still remember to this day back when I was about 6 when our rabbits got sick and my older sister missed a day of school because she spent the night caring for them.

The 135g weighs 195 pounds if that helps in your calculations. I can also give you the filters I was using at the time , they are fluval 403 and 303 cannisters and may need a couple of rubber o rings and maybe an impeller, but I really don't want to sell them and I'd like to see them go to someone who can use them. for the setup I had they kept perfect water perameters.Oh yeah, I guess I forgot to mention that the aquarium stand is long gone, But back when I got the tank my brother build me one in like 10 minutes with a circular saw and about a half a sheet of plywood and 2 2x4's.

lol 195 lbs, hmmmmmm sorry but no thanks. ive had fish and ect shipped to me and it was 40 bucks from ohio to here and that was like a 1lb package. i respect your thoughtfulness tho. im looking into THE BIGGEST tank i can afford. after moving were low on $$$ so im gonna pay for it myself so its gonna be used and i may have my dad build a stand for me. hes got billions of tools so it will be simple. so that makes it easier b/c now i can spend like 500 dollars on a tank instead of only 200 on the tank and rest on the stand

Never apolige little brother. your hearts in the right place and thats all that will ever count! someone ever questions your input just let it go my friend, the older I get the more I wish I was I was still your age.I'm very happy to know that there are still good ole folks like us to bounce our thoughts of of.
