do it. a tank that size is plenty of wiggle room for a little LMB. Smaller fish tend to ajust much better to tanks then larger fish in my experience. often times, larger fish will not switch over to pellets as easy, and get stressed and die much easier than a juvenile. With that being said a 255 gallon tank is large enough for a LMB and some smaller tankmates. any sunfish species will do well with the bass as long as you get the right sizes to begin with. obviously you shouldnt get something that can be eaten to start off with. A full grown bluegill for example is not going to be on the menu for a bass in a tank getting food readily. Just saying, you might want some more interaction and movement in that tank so id suggest a few sunfish , and a bullhead or something for some natural variety. you also have a lot of tankspace to work with decorations-wise. you can break up the sight lines, give plenty of cover and make it a really cool tanks. just really start out small, id say with no fish over 6" and take it from there. sorry about how long and disorganized this was haha wasnt intending on writing this much
